Registration opens at 7 a.m. followed by a 7:30 a.m. Mandatory safety clinic,
shooting practice from 8-9:00 and the race starts at 9. The directions are :
From Wichita, proceed southwest on K-42 to Schulte at MacArthur Rd. Go west to
Lake Afton Park. For participants arriving from the west on US 400, exit at
Garden Plain and proceed south approximately 3 miles to MacArthur Rd. the 1/2
mile east. The event will be held at the Young Hunter Safety shooting range west

Don Dirkson is a 72 year-old runner who will start 7' 15'' ahead of zero time the time a 19 to 34 year-old male would start. All runners will start based on their age and gender. For example, a 25 year-old female would start 2' ahead of zero. A 12 year-old boy would start 3:30' ahead of zero. A 41 year-old female would start 3' ahead of zero. CLYDSDALE ADDITION any male over 200 pounds or female over 160 pounds gets an additional one minute (must weigh in on race day). I beat Don medals to the first 75 to beat Don (Don doesn't think that many will beat him).
Custom medals to the first 30 across the finish line.
Custom Ball caps to the first 150 entrants
Simple food and drink after the race.
USATF Certified / RRCA Sanctioned
REGISTER IN PERSON at First Gear, 111 N. Mosley from July 30th to 1 p.m. On August 7th.
